I never figured out to how to start things. I usually just dive right in. I thought it'd be interesting to have a blog, but never really got around to it until now. I've had websites and such, but a blog was never my priority. My radio disc jockey lifestyle was, the websites and e-mail just complimented it.
I used to be a radio disc jockey full time. Then I quit that profession and started working odds and end jobs until I ended up in retail, which has made me want to get back in to the broadcasting buisness, for good reason. I mean, have you been to the big box places lately and seen some customers? I want to leave for work as late as possible (without being late) and leave the minute my scheduled shift ends, it's a crazy mad world. And I enjoy (almost) every second of it.
I always dove right in to things when I was on the radio. I have no idea why, I just never knew how to expand on the standard, "Hey, how ya doing?" bit that so many media types go for. I wanted to know Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? I wanted to know the pulse of my listeners, and I always wanted to know that they were there. I hope that happens here.
This will be a new and interesting start for me, in the past I've always had a broadcast outlet, either as an FM jock or the internet radio station I created but is on hiatus (more on that to come) to promote my online endevours. Right now I have none of that, just this blog and my thoughts. Let's see where this goes and let's get going...
